FAYETTEVILLE -- The state Board of Nursing placed nursing programs
at Fayetteville State University and UNC Pembroke on probation. Only 64%
of nursing graduates at Fayetteville State passed the state licensing
exam. UNC Pembroke did slightly better--68%. The schools have two years
to improve their percentages to 83%.
