Kluwer Law International (London) has begun the publication of
"Global Trade and Customs Journal," a new title designed to
offer "new ideas, fresh insights and expert views on critical
practical issues affecting international trade and customs
compliance," Kluwer said. It will be published six times a year and
an annual subscription costs $595.
The new journal is targeted to attorneys, and trade and customs
professionals "who have an interest in staying ahead of legal and
compliance-based developments in the field" and offers
"actionable advice" to help practitioners protect clients from
developments that could adversely affect their interests.
Editorial content focuses on issues in international trade law and
includes information on new and proposed rules and regulations, trade
and customs trends, developing successful compliance programs, business
processes, trade issues that have financial implications, compliance
opportunities, and industry-specific guidance on potential trade and
custom problems, as well as commentary and analysis of global trade and
custom developments.
Kluwer Law publishes nearly 20 other journals in a range of legal
disciplines, including "World Competition," "Journal of
International Arbitration," "European Review of Private
Law" and "International Journal of Comparative Labor
Law."
