Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. (New Rochelle, NY) will begin the
publication of "Sustainability: The Journal of Record" with a
February issue. The new journal will be published six times a year and
an annual print subscription costs $69 for individuals and $250 for
institutions. An online-only annual subscription costs $59 for
individuals and $245 for institutions.
The new journal covers a topic that requires information from a
broad range of disciplines and will be targeted to attorneys,
researchers, educators, administrators, economists, technologists and
executives at all levels of business involved in the preservation and
sustainability of global resources. The journal will publish news and
commentary, interviews with industry executives and profiles of
successful programs, and papers and research.
Topics to be covered include: sustainable development law and
policy, new government and nonprofit initiatives, sustainable products,
design and operation of green buildings, corporate sustainability,
sustainable agriculture, environmental sustainability, sustainability in
higher education, the integration of environmental and economic goals,
and implementing sustainability programs.
The premier issue includes stories and articles on: defining
sustainability; strategies for carbon neutrality; sustainability policy
and its legal implications; challenges of in sustainable food systems;
program profiles; corporate actions; and, new industry developments.
