Bracewell & Guiliani (New York) have launched Energy Legal Blog, a
resource for updates and analysis on national and regional energy
issues. Initial discussions cover such topics as: FERC proposals to
organized power market rules; Arizona transmission dispute resolution
efforts; cross-subsidization between affiliates; the Department of
Energy's cancellation of the FutureGen program; proposals for local
generation; clarification of rate tariffs; the FTC's examination of
green marketing and carbon offset markets; settlements involving Enron;
and, FERC rules to promote transparency in natural gas markets.
