Pike & Fischer (Washington, D.C.) has released "Fiber
Optic Telecommunications Networks: Fiber Use Agreements," a
hardback book and online service produced to help attorneys and
communications professionals understand fiber optic communications
networks and related agreements, and to negotiate and draft common
clauses for these agreements. Content covers "all aspects of the
emerging optical fiber environment," the company said, including:
the principal classes of fiber agreements; offer and acceptance of
fiber; sale of goods and lease of service approaches to fiber contracts;
risk allocation; collocation; insurance; termination; dispute
resolution; right of way; term and payment options; and, building
access. A print edition costs $249 while an electronic edition costs
$297. A combined print/electronic edition costs $499.
