Moose Jaw had an increase of 48 per cent in the number of people
visiting the Tourist Information Centre last year and it is believed the
total number of visitors to Moose Jaw in 2007 is over 100,000.
The sale of building permits in Moose Jaw skyrocketed in 2007.
Migration of people to Saskatchewan and a shortage of available lots
left the city with hardly any residential building lots to sell by the
end of the year. As well, homeowners enjoyed a 32 per cent increase in
the value of their homes.
