Ketchum appoints new president, alliances.(Business Briefs)(Kristina Carlson)(Brief article)

Ketchum Inc., appointed Kristina Carlson, founder and president of FundraisingINFO.com, as its new president. She replaces Robert Carter, who retired last year after 26 years with the company.

Carlson, who was campaign director at Ketchum from 1988 to 1992, founded FundraisingINFO.com eight years ago.

The Atlanta-based firm, which provides nonprofits with on-demand fundraising support, and MAGIC Inc., a prospect screening and research company, also announced "a strategic alliance" with Ketchum. The two companies will be the exclusive providers of prospect screening and research and on-demand fundraising support for Ketchum and RSI.

Viscern, the parent company of Ketchum and RSI, also recently appointed Jenny Lemmons as director of marketing and communications.
