Preteen vaccination campaign
launched.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has launched a
national campaign to inform parents, caregivers, and health care
providers about recommendations for immunizing 11- and 12-year-olds with
MCV4 (meningococcal conjugated vaccine) and Tdap (tetanusdiphtheria
acellular pertussis) and HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccines. For
educational materials in English and Spanish about the vaccines and the
diseases they prevent, visit www.cdc.gov/vaccines/
