The 1105 Media (Chatsworth, CA) Education Group, the publisher of
"T.H.E. Journal" and "Campus Technology," will begin
the publication of "Education Channel Partner" magazine and a
companion web site for the education sales industry, in June. The
magazine and its new business unit will focus on the information needs
and ongoing issues relevant to book and educational material
distributors, value-added resellers and other channel professionals in
the education market.
The new title will be published six times a year for a controlled
circulation of 25,000, including sales managers and representatives,
college bookstore and teacher store managers, resellers and
distributors. The company said content for both the magazine and the web
site include information on topics such as creative demand, selling
technology to non-technology budgets, emerging school needs, working
with ESCs, and the practical needs of sales professionals.
Publisher Jerry Rosenbusch said "the education sales
community, both vendors and partners, has been hungry for the focused
information that the 'Education Channel Partner' brand will
provide. We're pleased to meet this need and assist education
partners in understanding the scope and intricacies of this vertical
market."
In addition to the three magazine titles, the 1105 Media Education
Group also produces EducationPlaza, a state-specific marketplace for
products and services, EduHound, an online resource for teachers and
classrooms, and live events for both the K-12 and higher education
markets.
