Nestle has just opened a new ice-cream factory in the Chinese city of Guangdong as part of its bid to increase its market share in the country. The 22,000-sq.-meter plant will allow Nestle to triple its annual ice-cream output in China to 64 million liters. The facility cost 250 million Yuan (US$35.6 million) and it reportedly will focus on the production of high-end ice-cream products.
