Inderscience Publishers (London) has begun the publication of the
"International Journal of Corporate Governance," a new
quarterly journal that examines and analyzes issues related to corporate
governance. An annual print or online subscription costs [euro]470 for
institutions and [euro]160 for individuals.
The new title is targeted to a range of professionals involved with
the topic of corporate governance, including professors, students, legal
practitioners, regulators, corporate management and business executives.
Its objective is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and
to publish research and articles that examine emerging trends in
corporate governance and the current governance and compliance concerns
faced by companies.
The journal includes papers, research and commentary on topics such
as: corporate governance structures; corporate governance codes;
shareholder activism; voting rights and proxy voting; investor and
creditor protection; board nomination and performance; incentive
structures and executive compensation plans; business and financial
ethics; corporate social responsibility; insider trading; financial
reporting and disclosure; conflicts of interest; and, behavior of
institutional investors.
Also, in the fourth quarter of 2007, Inderscience launched the
"International Journal of Electronic Governance," a quarterly
journal covering the theory, applications and impact of using the
Internet and other digital communications media as governance channels.
It focuses on the use of electronic and information technologies in
deliberation over democratic policies and decision-making processes,
community governance, as well as governance in non-political domains
such as corporate, open project, online community and social network
contexts.
Editorial includes information on topics such as: electronic rule
making and public policy formulation at all levels; digital citizenship
and electronic deliberation; electronic corporate governance, digital
consensus building; self-governed electronic collaboration; digital
communication for policy making; electronic governance platforms;
training for electronic governance; and, social aspects of electronic
governance. An annual print and online institutional subscription costs
