LexisNexis (New York) has launched ExecRelate (execrelate.com), a
subscription-based information service that provides intelligence on
directors, executives and their relationships. Described as an online
relationship management tool, the service offers "insights"
into approximately 50,000 board members, including biographical data,
cross-linking maps and a social networking module.
Targeted to legal researchers, executive recruiters and business
development professionals, the service is designed to highlight
connections to executives, including board memberships, corporate family
structures, and executive-to-executive relationships. It includes over
700,000 personal names and titles, 65,000 parent companies and 118,000
linked subsidiaries, almost 200,000 U.S. and international public and
private companies, and nearly 50,000 board members from all NYSE, NASDAQ
and AMEX traded companies.
A side-by-side comparison feature displays linkages and
commonalities between board members in multiple areas, including current
career or board memberships, job and board history, educational
background, association membership and certifications earned.
Subscribers can also create custom electronic alerts for information on
changes involving specific companies or personnel.
LexisNexis Vice President Roderick Morris said "we have
invested the time to capture this proprietary content, keep it updated,
and visually cross-link it for users to see connections. Our analysts
are updating and verifying thousands of pieces of data each day an
scanning news sources for personnel change."
