Swets (Lisse, the Netherlands), a subscription services company,
has acquired the rights to ScholarlyStats, a web portal, from MPS
Technologies (London), a company that owns and operates a number of
topic-specific databases. Launched in 2005, ScholarlyStats is a portal
and database that allows legal and other professionals to collect,
consolidate and analyze e--journal usage statistics from multiple
sources. Supplied in COUNTER format, usage reports may be downloaded and
viewed by libraries, legal professionals and other users.
