Rina's Rainy Day is a picturebook written especially for young Jewish readers. Little Rina plans to enjoy a sunny day with her friend, but when rain preempts her plan, she says "Gam zu l'tova; I trust this is good," deciding to cook lunch and invite her friend to play indoors instead. But that plan also falls through. She says "Gam zu l'tova" again, despite her disappointment. However, we cannot always know why something is truly good; the rainy day was ultimately all part of Hashem's plan. The simple color illustrations enhance this heartfelt, spiritual picturebook story.
