"Tutti Frutti, Oh Rudy, Wop-bop-a-loom-a-blop-bam-boom!"
Those are the punchy lyrics from a cool rhythm and blues/rock and roll
song written and first recorded by celebrated American singer,
songwriter and pianist Little Richard in 1956, and later popularized by
Pat Boone and Elvis Presley. This Tutti Frutti, however, is a favorite
sweet enjoyed cold among Indian consumers both at home and abroad.
Available under the Shrikhand brand distributed by Union City, New
Jersey, USA-based Deep Foods, Inc., the treat is traditionally served
with bread or consumed as a dessert. Ingredients of the 379-gram item
are raisins, pistachios, cashews, almonds, cardamon and other spices
blended in milk, cream and additional ingredients. The retail price is
$4.99.
