Rochester, New York-based Birds Eye Foods, Inc. has extended its range of Steamfresh Fresh Frozen Vegetables with the introduction of Baby Brussels Sprouts sourced from Belgium. Four single-serve SteamFast[R] bags come per 368-gram master pack, which was retailing at two for $6 in a Stop & Shop supermarket outlet in New Jersey recently. "Simply place one in your microwave and watch it inflate as it perfectly steams your vegetables right in the bag! Your vegetables retain their natural goodness, crisp texture and fresh taste," states text on the packaging. Each 92-gram serving contains 100% of the daily Vitamin C requirement and just 50 calories.
