Ashworth debuts thinner, tight turning belt.

It is said to retain all of the patented design features of OmniPro 120. The Omni Pro 100 has been tested to continuously withstand tensions of 200 pounds for over 100,000 cycles, the company said, making it the strongest one-inch pitch grid belt in the industry.

"Its added strength comes from a patented link design that incorporates a 360[degrees] rod-to-link 'zero-tension' weld," explained Kerry Smith, marketing manager. "The rod end is completely melted and fused into the link by robotic welders, to create perfect welds every time. Furthermore, a patented 'protrusion leg' feature prevents the belt's welds from coming into contact with spiral cage bars, resulting in a smoother running spiral that generates less system wear and increases reliability."

Omni-Pro 100 can be outfitted with reduced radius links to achieve turn ratios as low as 1.7:1. And, when equipped with Ashworth's new Integral Guard Edges, it makes sure products stay on the belt. For further information go to www.ashworth.com
