For a limited time collector's points appeared on the
packages, and whoever cut out and submitted four of them got either the
carafe or two glasses. Eight points was good for the whole three-part
set.
Ciabatta, an Italian bread baked with olive oil and having a crisp
crust and fluffy texture, has become very popular in Europe since the
late 1990s. Ciabatone is said to be the first German pizza to use it as
a base. Oetker is publicizing the promotion with POS actions and TV
spots.
There are four Ciabatone varieties: Calabrese Salami, with Edam and
Mozzarella cheese and red peppers; Mozzarella Pomodori, with Mozzarella
wedges, dried tomatoes and cocktail tomatoes; Tonno, with tuna fish,
onions, Edam and Mozzarella cheeses, and Formaggi Misti, with mushrooms
and Edam, Mozzarella, Pecorino and Swiss cheeses. They are suggested for
retail at 2.29 euros.
