Nova Science Publishers (Hauppauge, NY) has begun the publication
of three new medical journals, including "International Journal of
Child and Adolescent Health," "Journal of Pain
Management" and "Proteomics Research Journal."
The "International Journal of Child and Adolescent
Health" is a quarterly journal targeted to scientists interested in
the broad range of child health, adolescent, health and human
development. A multidisciplinary title, it is designed to provide a
holistic approach to public health issues, health and medicine, health
and social policy, service aspects, developmental aspects, epidemiology,
rehabilitation, family and social issues, quality of life, genetics and
other aspects of human development.
The "Journal of Pain Management," also published
quarterly, is targeted to medical personnel involved in pain management
and is written to provide a forum for research and reviews relevant to
clinical practice of pain management with an emphasis on applied
research. It carries articles from all disciplines, including
psychology, nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy, among
others, working in the area of pain management, including acute,
chronic, and cancerrelated pain.
Finally, "Proteomics Research Journal" carries the latest
research in the field of proteomics and includes coverage of technical
developments in all major gel and non-gel based proteomic platforms and
their application in the range of life sciences. It covers such topics
organism analysis, expression profiling, disease studies, pharmaceutical
implications, agricultural and biotechnological applications, and
analysis of cellular systems and protein complexes. It is also published
quarterly. An annual subscription to each of three titles costs $195.
