Dow Jones & Co. (New York) has acquired Bretten Financial News (Bretten Beursmedia News; Amsterdam), a Dutch-language news service that covers the financial industry in the Netherlands. No terms of the deal were given. Bretten is a financial and economic news organization that provides real-time news and information to professionals and private investors, media and non-financial companies. Dow Jones said the company will be integrated into its Dutch-language news service, Dow Jones Nieuwsdienst, that covers both Dutch and European financial markets. Dow Jones News wires also publishes its news in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
