International b2b media organization Tarsus Group (London; Brookfield, WI), a company with interests in exhibitions, conferences, publishing and online media, has acquired a 50% interest in Hubei Hope Exhibition Co. Ltd. (Wuhan, China) for approximately 1.4 million [pounds sterling]. The deal is conditioned on approval from the Chinese government, expected in April. Established in 2000, the acquired company is an exhibition organizer in Central and Western China and currently operates a portfolio of 27 annual exhibitions in three main sectors, including medical equipment, industrial equipment and leisure.
