National depression prevalence
reported.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has
released the National Surveys on Drug Use and Health report "State
Estimates of Depression: 2004 and 2005."
The report shows that about 9% of youth aged 12-17 years and 7.6%
of adults aged 18 years and older had at least one major depressive
episode in the past year.
