In "CT Not Advised for Lung Ca Screening" (Oct. 15, 2007,
p. 1), we incorrectly reported that Dr. James L. Mulshine participates
in the International Early Lung Cancer Action Program. Also, the
statement that General Electric Co. has provided funding for the Lung
Cancer Alliance was not intended to imply a personal conflict of
interest involving Dr. Mulshine, who serves on the board of directors of
the alliance.
