Weekly UpdatesTECHNOTRON LTD, A marketer of air-conditioning equipment, has announced that, in conjunction with its international partner, York International, a subsidiary of Johnson Controls, it plans to commence manufacturing in Nigeria. Technotron's chief executive is reported to have told the press that the new plant, which is expected to assemble air conditioner components and manufacture the cases locally, will commence production before the end of 2008.
