The launch of this new route to Angola is in line with the airline's strategy of connecting the oil producing markets to Germany. This will strengthen the route network of Lufthansa in Africa, one of the airline's strategically most important market.
The new Lufthansa flights to Angola will operate on Wednesdays from Luanda to Frankfurt departing at 2035 hrs arriving in Frankfurt at 0600; the flight LH 560 will leave Frankfurt on Tuesdays at 2030 hrs touching down in Luanda at 0355 hrs (next day).
To further increase its presence on the African continent, Lufthansa will introduce a new flight connection between Malabo/Equatorial Guinea and Frankfurt with a thrice weekly service to Frankfurt as of 1 April.
