A new product line is being established at Strek-O Doors, LLC,
located in Abbotsford, WI. Owner and President, Al Deiler has signed an
agreement with Skamol A/S, Nykobing Mors, Denmark for exclusive
distribution of Fire Safe Products SafeCore[R] in North America.
SafeCore[R] is a light weight mineral core for wood fire doors and
is available in 45,60 and 90 minute ITS-WH fire ratings. One of the
special features of SafeCore[R] is the stile thickness, which is
9/16" of wood. This ultra thick stile allows further trim than
other mineral core doors that are currently available.
The SafeCore[R] manufacturing will take place in an existing area
of the plant which is under renovation to handle its new assignment.
