Marshfield DoorSystems, the leader in the commercial wood door
industry, is pleased to announce the creation of the Department of
Environmental Sustainability. The purpose of this intiative is to
provide the architectural and design community, our customers and
prospects, with an informed resource to help them navigate and
understand the various requirements of building "green."

The new department will be led by Steve Farley. As director of
Environmental Sustainability, Farley is charged with providing
information and education in regards to environmental class doors to
meet the industry's needs quickly and accurately. Farley is a
member of both the Door & Hardware Institute, and the Construction
Specifications Institute where he holds a certification as a
Construction Documents Technologist.
Internally, Farley will be charged with helping to define door
specifications as required by LEEDTM and other environmental
initiatives. In addition, Farley will serve as an industry resource for
architects, contractors and distributors, Marshfield's customers
and prospects, as well as other manufacturers who use door core products
in both the commercial and residential markets.
