EMPA, one of the largest IT distribution companies operating in the
MENA region, has announced that it has recently enhanced and expanded
its logistics operations to include door-to-door delivery straight from
its newly built facility in Jebel Ali South Zone to practically anywhere
in the UAE. The move is part of a strategy to consolidate EMPA's
delivery service to improve customer satisfaction and further enhance
the company's sales performance.
To ensure an optimum distribution network for the new service, EMPA
has finalised agreements with its reputed logistics partner Aramex in
the UAE; and is also in the process of finalising talks with logistics
partners in Bahrain to implement the same in-country distribution model.
"We are gradually building and improving our logistics
operations with the ultimate aim of delivering unrivalled quality
service across the region. The new door service facility is another
significant development in our continuing quest to provide clients with
the best logistical solutions, which are tailor-made according to the
specific demands of customers in the UAE," said Rahb Hamidaddin,
President, EMPA Middle East.
"The success of this new venture will provide the momentum to
adopt the same delivery model across other key markets in the region. As
such, our clients can be rest assured that EMPA will remain the most
practical choice in terms of efficiency, flexibility and
cost-effectiveness," added Hamidaddin.
Since the launch of the door delivery service recently, EMPA has
revealed an enthusiastic response from customers, who have benefited
greatly from the 24-hour service facility. EMPA's distribution and
delivery service is also distinguished by its high degree of flexibility
as it is able to accommodate even smaller quantities for distribution.
The service comes at very nominal rates for delivery. The expanded
distribution and delivery network is likewise part of a much greater
initiative to improve the company's overall performance. EMPA has
already streamlined its internal procedures and workflow mechanisms to
reduce process times and facilitate faster documentation.
