TBT Engineering was a two-time winner at the Thunder Bay Chamber of
Commerce's 14th annual business awards, April 12.
The local firm shared the Commitment to Quality Award with Union
Gas, then won the Business Excellence Award in the large company
categories (40-plus employees).
The Business Excellence Award for small companies (1-9 employees)
went to MEDI chair while Michael's Hair Design and Day Spa grabbed
the medium company category award (10-39 employees).
The Business Excellence Award for not-for-profit organizations went
to Community Living Thunder Bay.
The New Business Excellence Award was presented to The Whole Nine
Yards while Newcap Radio and Barewood Furniture grabbed the Ambassador
Award and Looking Good Award respectively.
Thunder Bay Public Library won the Quality of Life Award with
Confederation College receiving the Environmental Stewardship Award.
Local lawyer and community volunteer Jim Johnson was given the
Charles J. Carter Award of Excellence.
