FRIENDS of police smash victim Hayley Adamson have launched a
campaign for justice.
The 16-year-old was killed on Monday as she stepped on to Denton
Road, Scotswood, in Newcastle's West End, and was struck by a
police car.
She had been out with six of her friends near the Dorset Road home
of her sister Sarah Ridley, who was married just 10 days before the
tragedy.
Her friends have vowed to do all they can to make sure the truth is
uncovered about the circumstances in which she died.
The band of mates are planning to make banners and T-shirts bearing
a photo of Hayley and the words 'justice for Hayley'.
"We are thinking of getting a plaque next to where she
died," said Nicola Steele, 16, of Yewcroft Avenue.
