Quebec-based Explor Resources Inc. is moving forward on its 5,000-metre exploration project at its Kidd Township Property, located in the Porcupine mining division within the district of Cochrane.
The property is located 1.5 kilometres southeast of Xstrata Nickel's Kidd Creek mine, roughly 20 kilometres north of the city of Timmins.
An airborne electromagnetic survey over the property has turned up a series of untested geophysical anomalies, which the first phase of the exploration project will focus on drilling. Following this phase, the company will continue with additional diamond drilling to enhance the definition of these targets.
The property, which covers a 1,948-hectare area, includes geological features which include anomalous zinc and copper.
