Presstek Inc. (PRST) has sold a property in Tucson, Ariz., for
$8.75 million, while leasing a portion of the building to still run some
of the operations. The anticipated sale was part of the company's
business improvement plan that involves consolidation in its Hudson
facility--a move that has increased jobs locally. The company said it
plans to use the money to pay down debt and help it as it transitions to
producing more digital printing equipment.
