Central New York Leatherstocking.(Worldwide Chapter News)(Brief article)


The chapter awarded $6,000 in annual scholarships for 2007. Recipients of these scholarships are pictured with Chapter President Annette Beard (l-r): Annette Beard, Laura Owens, Kenneth Nelson, Aleha Will, Jason Guzzardo, and George Reyes (for his daughter, Felisha Reyes). Also receiving scholarships but not pictured: Amanda Dearing, Amy Luther, Justin Vickery, Jeremy Peppier, and Laura Stockbridge.

Ms. Susan Bailey, NAVSUPHQ comptroller, presents speaker Vice Admiral Keith W. Lippert, SC, USN (Ret.), former director of the Defense Logistics Agency, with a check for the Navy Supply Corps Foundation in appreciation for serving as luncheon guest speaker at the Commissioned Officers' Mess, Naval Support Activity, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The luncheon was held to rejuvenate the Keystone Chapter in order to provide a professional forum for mid state Department of Defense financial representatives, promote the high standards of comptrollership, and heighten interest and membership in the chapter. VADM Lippert's presentation focused on the future in leadership and management.
