T.B. Penick wraps up project at Naval Air
Station.

T.B. Penick & Sons General Construction has completed
construction on the new, 6,580-square-foot, 10-story air traffic control
tower at Naval Air Station Lemoore. The $9.2 million project by the T.B.
Penick & Sons and Harper Construction Co. included construction of a
new control tower with partial demolition of the existing tower. Under
construction since March 2007, the tower features room enough for 11 air
traffic controllers with exterior catwalk, briefing/break room, tower
supervisor offices, training and storage rooms, fire-rated exit
stairway, elevator access, restroom facilities, locker room, and blast
resistant windows.
