Q What's the best advice you've ever received?
Pay yourself first.

Treat others as you would like to be treated, and pay yourself first.
Q Professionally, who has inspired you the most?
This is a difficult question because I don't think I've drawn inspiration from just one person. When I look at all our small community has accomplished, I am amazed and I think I draw inspiration from that. We have a beautiful community complex and arena, a flourishing hospital and schools. Right now we are in the midst of planning our Centennial celebrations and our little town looks even better than usual. These things do not happen on their own, they happen because of a community that pulls together to make them happen. That, to me, is truly inspirational.
Q Do you have a favourite motto?
I don't really, but I do believe that you have to be unafraid of failure, otherwise nothing would get accomplished. I think Wayne Gretzky said it really well: "You miss one hundred per cent of the shots you never take."
Q What's your favorite place to get away?
My backyard, with a good book to read.
