AMI & CAC participate in book about Mushroom
farming.
Arcadia Publishing has released a pictorial history of Chester
County Mushroom Farming. The book contains more than 200 vintage
photographs from the collection of the American Mushroom Institute (AMI)
and its Community Awareness Committee (CAC). The text for the book was
researched and written by Chester County author Bruce E. Mowday. Part of
the book's proceeds will go to the scholarship program of the
Community Awareness Committee.
"The American Mushroom Institute has a wonderful collection of
photographs," Mowday said. "The organization was very helpful
in producing this book. I'm glad a portion of the proceeds from the
book will go back to the community in the form of CAC
scholarships."
Chester County Mushroom Farming costs $19.99 and will be available
in area bookstores and from the AMI Avondale office. Signed copies of

mowday@mowday.com The book is the fifth by Mowday for Arcadia. Other
