Offering customers quality
workmanship.
Liquid Plastics, manufacturer of high performance coatings for
hygiene sensitive environments, has brought together its Approved
Hygiene Contractors for the first time. The contractors travelled from
around the country to the meeting at Liquid Plastics' headquarters
in Lancashire.
"The aim of our AHC Programme is to allow us to offer our
customers quality workmanship, to match the high quality of our hygiene
coatings," comments John Moore, business development manager for
Liquid Plastics' hygiene products. "By working closely with a
select group of people we can ensure that they are fully trained in the
application of the coatings, and will meet the high standards set by
ourselves and our clients."
Before membership to the AHC programme is granted, contractors must
meet strict criteria and agree to a Code of Practice. All approved
contractors undergo dedicated training on a regular basis at Liquid
Plastics' training facilities, which benefits the customer as they
are guaranteed a high quality application. Furthermore, the lifetime of
the coating can last between 10 and 15 years when expertly applied -
three times longer than conventional paints.
The AHC programme was launched following the introduction of Liquid
Plastics' Hygiene Coatings incorporating Silver Ion Technology. The
Silver Ions present within the coating attack microorganisms that land
on the surface in three different ways to cause the reproductive
functions to break down, thus killing the cell and preventing further
growth. Key benefits of the Silver Ion coatings include their proven
effectiveness against a range of microorganisms (including Clostridium
difficile, MRSA and Escherichia coli O157), the non-leaching
anti-bacterial protection throughout the life of the coating, and the
seamless, elastomeric finish.
