The French government takes "little green men" sightings seriously--so seriously that the country's National Space Studies Centre (CNES) will put its UFO archive online this spring, according to Reuters.

A group within the CNES known as the Rare Aerospace Phenomena Study Department has collected more than 6,000 documents relating to strange sightings of UFOs and aliens.

Jacques Arnould, CNES project leader, told Reuters that the organization plans to put its entire collection of archives online for world viewing in early 2007.

The reports include 1,200 UFO sightings within French national borders and represent 30 years of investigations.
