What does SOX cost small firms?
A survey by Lord & Benoit found that the average costs for
first-year compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) 404 provisions is
$78,474 for small firms (those with market capitalization less than $75
million), CFO Magazine reported.
