A PENSIONER had her handbag snatched by a teenage thief.
The 80-year-old was outside Leo's convenience store, in North
Road, Boldon Colliery, South Tyneside, when the incident happened at
1.30pm on Tuesday.
The woman was left shaken and suffered minor injuries.
The offender was aged between 13 and 15, was of stocky build and
wore a grey or blue jacket. He made off from the scene on a pedal cycle.
