ITS motto is "learning, achieving, succeeding". And after
an inspection a school has been praised for living up it.
Thomas Hepburn Community Comprehensive School in Gateshead was
hailed as having, "a positive ethos in which students are nurtured
throughout the years".
The school was rated as good across all categories in a report
published by the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted).
Inspectors said it was a "safe environment in which students
feel supported and well cared for" and commended staff and
governors.
Coun Catherine Donovan, cabinet member for children and young
people at Gateshead Council, said: "I am delighted."
