Advances in electronics, in energy-efficient transport technology
and in energy generation from renewable sources require parallel
advances in polymer chemistry. Epoxy group chemistry is key to all these
areas. This meeting will bring recent exciting developments in epoxy
chemistry together in a single forum, with a panel of speakers chosen
from industry and applied academic research. Topics include synthesis,
structured polymers, nanocomposite technology and flame retardants. The
meeting aims to present an overview of recent progress in epoxy group
chemistry and its applications and to provide networking opportunities
within the epoxy chemistry community.
