Merritech Inc. has announced the addition of a 16m machining center
to enhance its large machine capability along with the opening of a new
steel fabrication facility. Merritech is now capable of supplying
machined weldments up to 100,000lb. The new machine is capable of
machining parts that are 16m (53ft) long, by 3.6m (12ft) high by 3.0m
(10ft) deep with a 60,000lb load capacity on the rotary B axis.
