It's just a couple of girls next
door.

An event to raise money for children definitely wasn't
kid-friendly at the Playboy Mansion. The "Cops and Robbers"
event on Aug. 23 featured Playboy playmates, MySpace "star"
Bobbi Billard, DJ Lady Tribe and undefeated Ultimate Fighter Daniel
Puder, with a donation benefiting San Jose, Calif.-based Cops Care
Cancer Foundation.

Puder's company, Puder Productions, hosted the event and
featured more than 300 of his "Knockout" girls.
"We've had mostly positive feedback," said Brian
Simuro, president and founder of Cops Care Cancer Foundation. The
all-volunteer organization is happy to benefit from the event, according
to Simuro, San Jose Police Department detective and childhood cancer
survivor. "We like to do non-traditional style fundraisers just
because everybody seems to chase the same nickel in our area and the
Playboy Mansion is really an iconic building. It's got history and
it's more a strategic advertising tool."
Cops Care Cancer Foundation makes donations to the Lucile Packard
Children's Hospital in Stanford, Calif., and receives requests for
personal assistance three to five times week from families with a child
younger than age 18 who is battling cancer. Simuro said the donation
would help fund a new Web site, complete with Spanish translation and an
automated assistance request area.
Attendees traipsed through the infamous grotto and Hugh
Hefner's personal zoo and watched a lingerie fashion show. What
other kind of entertainment would you expect at the mansion?
VIP attendees started the party the night before in Los Angeles at
an exclusive Wet T-shirt Wrestling League's (WTWL) debut
pay-per-view performance. The girls participating in WTWL are originally
from the Naked Women's Wrestling League, but donned tops for this
special event.
Tickets were $750 and VIP tickets were $950--and police officers
received a $100 discount.
