THE COLLECTED WISDOM OF...
Q Professionally, who has inspired you the most?
My father. His work ethic, courage and integrity in establishing a steel fabricating business (Sudbury Welding Limited) as a first generation Italian immigrant is something I truly admired and in my professional career I strive to emulate in my day-to-day activities.
Q If you weren't in this line of work, what would you be doing?
I would probably return to my structural engineering design roots. Designing a building's structural skeleton from initial architectural concept to final construction was always professionally gratifying work.
Q What's your favorite place to get away?
Home with my wife and two young daughters, Olivia (6) and Lisa (10). Their unconditional love despite whatever challenges my work day has brought helps to ground me as to what in life is truly important.
Q What's the best advice you have to give?
Choose to do something in life that you truly enjoy and then pursue it as best you can. Success requires hard work and as some people say, no matter how hard you have to work to achieve success, the satisfaction will make it feel like you never had to work a day in your life.
