SUCCESSFUL female entrepreneurs will be passing on their knowledge
to inspire other women in the region.
They will be explaining how they launched their businesses at a
Spark Your Potential event to be held on Wednesday.
The free event will see some of the region's top female
entrepreneurs meeting women with a spark of an idea they want to
develop.
Spark, the women's enterprise ambassador network, and the Make
Your Mark campaign have organised the event, which will take place at
Sunderland's National Glass Centre.
It will include sessions with women including North East Woman
Entrepreneur of the Year Nicky Gott, who runs an events management
company, and Kari Owers, of O Communications, plus a seminar on
inspirational women with TV presenter Kim Inglis.
Kari, who runs award-winning PR agency, O Communications, in
Newcastle, said: "I know from experience how daunting getting that
project up and running can seem at first. But once you've taken the
plunge and enlist the support available to you, it's an empowering
and life-changing experience.
"The Spark Your Potential Personal Venture Workshop for Women
will help you to shake off any inhibitions, talk to people who have
already made the leap and get some practical tips and tools to help you
achieve the success you're dreaming of."
