Lateral violence and bullying in the workplace.(Focus Nursing Issues)

The Center for American Nurses has available online a position statement on violence and bullying in the workplace. It is an excellent resources that support the RN in collaborative manner with other health care professionals to develop appropriate policies, codes of conduct and educational programs with the goal to eliminate disruptive behavior in the workplace. The center has numerous resources that will guide any collaborative process to fostered a culture of professional collegiality and advanced the role of nursing.
