GALLERY staff have become the canvas for an Italian artist's latest creation.
The group of workers at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art are stepping into the spotlight and taking part in the newly-launched B. SQUARE! exhibition.
Artist Antonio Riello has designed a series of unique outfits to be worn by the staff until March.
The key theme is a Tartan created for the European Union in 1999 which uses the colours of blue and yellow of the European flag, red, and white representing peace and non-violence.
The designs of the trousers and skirts have been influenced by Riello's impression of the Baltic.
He's also produced black and white reversible hooded jackets, which take their influence from the Northumbrian Tartan and the only English country to have its own traditional plaid.
Limited edition B. SQUARE! T-shirts will be available to buy in the art centre's shop during the exhibition, on now until March 29.
