Issa Murad, General Manager of Haider Murad and Sons Investment Group, the sole distributor of Candy and Hoover in Jordan stated, "Today, there is strong demand in the Jordanian market for washing machines with big capacities, but at the same time, the end-user is focused on saving energy and money. With the new Candy and Hoover washing machines, our customers will have the advantage of an intelligent washing machine that detects the quantity of laundry inside the drum, and automatically adjusts the length of the washing cycle."

The Candy and Hoover washing machines are equipped with the fuzzy logic system that consumes water and energy according to the quantity of laundry present in the drum. This means that consumers in Jordan can wash 2 or 3 kg of laundry in a 9 kg washing machine and still reduce water and energy consumption.
