The Lebanese artist Vivian Azara was an honored guest at the Egyptian Cinema Oscar Ceremony held in Cairo last week. Vivian received an award as the 'best performance artist' in 2008 at the ceremony.

According to the London daily Elaph, Vivian opened the celebration with her hit song "Eih" (What) accompanied by her dance group. She also pleased the audience by singing "Zahmah Ya Dunia Zahmah" (The World Is Crowded) by the Egyptian artist Ahmad Adawyeh.

She is also planning to film a video clip for the song in the near future. At the Egyptian Oscars many great Egyptian stars received awards, like actors Yusra, Madiha Yusri, Nabila Obeid, Raja Al Jidawi, the great comedian Adel Imam, Izat Abo Oof, Noor Al Sharif, Muhammad Hunaidi, Mahmoud Yasin, Izat Al Alaili and the two performing artists Najwa Fouad and Fifi Abdoh. 2009 Al Bawaba (www.albawaba.com)
